Our first date (February 15, 1997) was at Pappadeaux's Restaurant in Beaumont, TX. When we returned (September 19, 2010) we actually got the exact same table we sat at on our first date! We had calamari, gumbo, and a shrimp po-boy. When management found out about our story, they sent us a complimentary dessert! The place was exactly as we left it, it has such a special place in our hearts.....it was our favorite place in Beaumont. We miss you, Pappa!
